Multilingual Therapy Support

Psychologist in Dubai Guide

The Valens Clinic‘s FAQ names six team languages: English, Arabic, French, Russian, Italian and Urdu. The word “include” in the answer leaves room for more, and the clinician profiles fill it in. If you want a psychologist in Dubai who speaks your language, the profiles tell you whom to ask for.

Which languages do the profiles add to the FAQ?

Six more. Persian, Spanish, Ukrainian, Hungarian, Romanian and Dutch appear on profile pages but not in the FAQ answer. Persian sits with two clinicians. The other five sit with one each, so the choice is narrow.

Who speaks Persian, Russian, Hungarian or Dutch?

The table lists every language beyond English, Arabic and French on a clinician profile, with the role the site gives each clinician.

Language Clinician Role on the site
Persian Nazanin Sadegh Pour Clinical Psychologist
Dutch Nazanin Sadegh Pour Clinical Psychologist
Russian Izabel Tytar Psychologist
Ukrainian Izabel Tytar Psychologist
Spanish Izabel Tytar Psychologist
Hungarian Timea Antal Psychologist
Romanian Timea Antal Psychologist
Persian Dr Elham Ghasemi Specialist Psychiatrist
Italian Dr Danilo Arnone Consultant Psychiatrist
Urdu Dr Zara Habib Specialist Psychiatrist

Italian and Urdu appear only on psychiatrist profiles. If you want talk therapy in either language, ask whether the clinic offers it.

Who covers Arabic and French?

Arabic and French have the widest cover. Dr Rudy Abi Habib, Dr Rassil Ghazzaoui and Yara Sawan, all clinical psychologists, list English, Arabic and French. Lara Daouk, who works with children and adolescents, lists the same three. Marianne Diab, a neuropsychologist, and Dr Rama Kanj, an educational psychologist, also list all three, as does Sherine Bou Dargham, an assistant psychologist. Noran Hamid lists Arabic and English. Mira Nasr, a counsellor for children, adolescents and families, lists English and Arabic, and her profile adds a working knowledge of French.

Alison Kuit lists English only.

Which languages does no profile list?

No profile lists Hindi, Tagalog, Malayalam, German or Mandarin. The gap describes the website, not necessarily the team. Check with the coordinator before you rule the clinic out.

What should you check before you choose by language?

A profile lists spoken languages. It does not say whether therapy runs in each one at the same depth, so ask.

Check the focus too. Timea Antal’s profile centres on children, adolescents and young adults, and Lara Daouk’s covers ages 5 to 21. An adult who speaks Hungarian or Romanian should ask whether Antal sees adults, since the profile does not say.

If travel stands between you and the right clinician, ask about online sessions. The FAQ says the clinic offers online psychiatry and therapy, locally and internationally.

The clinic’s psychologists hold licensing from the Dubai Health Authority or the Community Development Authority, so language is a question of fit.

Email info@thevalensclinic.ae with your language, your concern and the age of the person who needs support. Adults can read about individual therapy first, and parents can start with the Young Valens page. The clinic operates under Dubai Health Authority (DHA) licensing, and its Jumeirah site holds Community Development Authority (CDA) approval.
