The Valens Clinic Dubai has launched the Middle East’s first dedicated Esketamine Treatment Centre, with referrals now open to physicians across the UAE and internationally.

Following its third anniversary, The Valens Clinic is proud to announce the official launch of its dedicated Esketamine Centre of Excellence, led by Specialist Psychiatrist Dr. Bassam Dheyaa, in strategic partnership with Johnson & Johnson, the global pharmaceutical company behind Spravato® esketamine nasal spray.

This milestone represents an important advancement for psychiatric care in the GCC and the wider Middle East. Spravato® is an FDA-approved esketamine treatment indicated for eligible adults with treatment-resistant depression and major depressive disorder with acute suicidal ideation or behaviour, where clinically appropriate.

Esketamine treatment has been available in the region for several years. The Valens Clinic is now expanding access by increasing treatment capacity and opening a structured referral pathway for collaboration with doctors, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities across the UAE, GCC, Middle East, and internationally.

At The Valens Clinic, every esketamine session is delivered within a multidisciplinary care framework, with psychiatric oversight, clinical monitoring, and integration into a broader personalised treatment plan.

The centre is now accepting referrals from physicians across the UAE, Gulf Cooperation Council, wider Middle East, and international markets. Referring clinicians can expect a streamlined referral process, close communication with the clinical team, and coordinated care while retaining the primary relationship with their patients.

The Valens Clinic is licensed by the Dubai Health Authority and accredited by the Community Development Authority, supporting full regulatory compliance, clinical governance, and high standards of patient safety.
