Dr. Joseph El Khoury
Dr El Khoury is a Lebanese-British Consultant Adult Psychiatrist with extensive experience in the treatment of psychiatric disorders. He has trained and worked in the public and private sectors in the United Kingdom, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates. He has several clinical and academic interests, having been involved in founding and managing specialist multidisciplinary clinical services for mood, addiction and psychotic disorders. He has authored over 50 academic publications and remains active in research, public speaking and consultancy. He moved to Dubai in 2021 to take up the position of chief of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at the American Hospital in Dubai. He is co-founder and Medical Director of the Valens Clinic in Dubai.
