Dr Bassam Dheyaa is an experienced and passionate psychiatrist originally from Iraq. He has been based in the UAE for several years and practicing in Dubai since 2019.
His expertise spans across all common psychiatric conditions, with people from varied cultural and ethnical backgrouds.
He has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including with the Dubai Health Authority.
He is adept at addressing psychiatric emergencies and severe mental disorders specifically in the context of the UAE.

His solid medical foundation was established at the University of Baghdad, where he earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree in 2007.
