Dr. Jennifer Burns
Dr Jennifer Burns is a UK trained Clinical Psychologist, with almost ten years experience working in a range of psychological services. Jennifer has worked with individuals of all ages; however, has specialised throughout her career in working with children and young people. This stems from her strong commitment to provide early intervention for mental health difficulties and ensure the development of positive wellbeing from a young age. Jennifer approaches her work with children and their families with compassion, ensuring each family member feels heard, respected, and supported. Jennifer recognises that the therapuetic relationship is key to faciliating positive outcomes and so strives to create a welcoming, warm, and non-judgemental therapeutic space for all.
Jennifer is experienced in working in both community and specialist hospitals to support those presenting with various mental health difficulties, neurodevelopmental disorders, and physical health problems. Given Jennifer’s comprehensive training, she uses an integrative approach to assessment and therapy, ensuring each client can benefit from psychological intervention.
