Rassil Ghazzaoui
Ms. Rassil Ghazzaoui is a Canadian Lebanese Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Cognitive Science from the American University of Beirut (AUB) and her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University, New York.
Prior to joining the Valens clinic, Ms. Ghazzaoui served as the Director of the Psychology Department at the American Hospital of Dubai (AHD). She also worked at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) in Beirut, Lebanon as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the department of Psychiatry and in the Bariatric Unit in the Surgery department.
She was also the program coordinator as well as primary psychologist of the Psychosis Recovery Outreach program (PROP) and Treatment Outreach Program for Eating Disorders (TOP-ED). Before starting to practice in Lebanon, Ms. Ghazzaoui worked at the New-York State Psychiatric Institute (NYSPI)/Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC).

Ms. Ghazzaoui works with all types of cases mainly adolescents and adults;
her specialties include Psychosis and Eating Disorders.
She also works with bariatric patients for pre- and post-surgery psychological assessments and therapy.
She published various research papers in mental health journals and has been
actively involved in raising awareness about Complex Mental Disorders
in the Middle East with the aim of improving the mental health awareness
in the community at large.
Ms. Ghazzaoui has experience with Corporate Mental Health
by working with major companies on raising awareness and through
Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).
