About Dr. Rudy Abi-Habib
Dr. Rudy Abi-Habib pursued his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the Lebanese University followed by a Master’s degree in clinical psychology and psychopathology at the Saint Joseph University in Beirut and Doctoral studies in psychopathology at the University of Denis Diderot – Paris, France. Recognizing the importance of research in Psychology, he completed a 2-year Postdoctoral fellowship at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. During his research journey, Dr. Abi-Habib immersed himself in rigorous research, combining theory with practical application to gain a comprehensive understanding of psychopathology.
In parallel to his research involvement Dr. Abi-Habib completed a 4 years psychodynamic psychotherapy training in adult and couple psychotherapy. He is also a certified psychodynamic psychotherapy trainer.
He currently practices adult and couple psychotherapy. He is highly invested in research, and has published 15 peer-reviewed articles in the past three years.
Among his research and clinical practice specialties are trauma, loss and grief, sexual disorders, anxiety, mood disorders and relational difficulties.
