Clinician Profile

Dr. El Safty is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK. He completed his training in Egypt earning a Masters Degree and his Medical Doctorate from the prestigious Ain Shams University in Cairo.

Dr. El Safty has more than 10 years of experience in the field of General Adult Psychiatry and Addiction medicine. He has practiced in the public and private sectors in Egypt and the United Kingdom. He has expertise in all common psychiatric conditions in inpatient and outpatient settings. His exposure to different cultures and schools of psychiatric practices has helped him develop a set of skills that he applies daily to serve his clients. His range of interests include the diagnosis and management of mood disorders such as depression in addition to OCD and anxiety disorders. Additionally, he has a special interest in clients who present with personality disorders.

Dr. El Safty is currently an appointed lecturer at the institute of Psychiatry of Ain Shams university. In parallel he holds the position of Deputy CEO of Al-Mashfa, one of Egypt’s most reputable private hospitals.

Dr. El Safty will be combining these roles with regular scheduling at the Valens clinic in Dubai.
